We were asked to refinish this beautiful walnut floor. Walnut floors are sometimes considered to be a real statement alternative. They are simply stunning with intense grain and colour. The colour of the floor can range from a pale brown to darker colours. They usually have lighter coloured streaks with reddish additions which add to their warmth.
Once again, the surface of the floor had deteriorated. Sunlight combined with a deteriorated wood finish offers a really lack-lustred appearance. It can yellow and cover the beautiful wood grain. A wood finish product should boost the natural wood grain and colour, not cover it. It is important that it accentuates the grain pattern and achieves the best appearance of the floor, while protecting it.
