You can find helpful information and advice in relation to floor sanding and wood floor restoration on our blog. We regularly update the page with new projects and valuable details. While we are on hand to offer additional support, it is important that our clients are educated in how to maintain daily care. This means our clients are able to enjoy the natural beauty of their wooden floors, for longer.
Many strongly believe that wooden floors are the most timeless flooring alternative. They offer warmth, character and (if cared for correctly) a lifetime of service. What does care for wood floors mean?
This means being well-informed about how best to offer protection for your floors. Major care elements include placing mats at each of your entrances. This provides an opportunity for dirt, dust and debris to be removed from shoes before entering your home. If these particles remain on shoes, then they are likely to work as deteriorating factors to your wood floor surface.
Placing soft pads under your furniture will reduce scratching. Sofas, chairs and even other furniture when moving on a wooden surface easily scratches it. Soft pads eliminate this issue and provides a buffer. Dining chairs are particularly problematic; but pads provide a simple solution.
Another important element is the knowledge of when to request help. We are professional floor sanders and specialise in both commercial and domestic floor sanding projects throughout Lancashire.
